Nicholas Gregory, ChWE, ChCCA
CEO of The Wealth Engineering Family Of Companies

Having founded The Wealth Engineering Institute back in 1996, Nick and his colleagues have utilized the Institute’s Wealth Engineering Platform and a plethora of other resources to engineer the core entities that make up the Wealth Engineering Family of Companies as an ecosystem for Wealth Advisors and their clients. The vast array of services of his Family of Companies are harmonized to surround the ever-changing needs of managers of wealth and their clients. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ball State University with minors in Economics and Finance. Mr. Gregory is a member of the Financial Planners Association, The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, The Charitable Capital Advisory Council and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Give Back Nation.

Michelle Diamond
Chief Development Officer of Cumberland Trust

Michelle Diamond is Chief Development Officer & Executive Director of Regional Markets. She joined the Cumberland Trust team in 2001, at the firm’s founding. At Cumberland’s start, Michelle, a Trust Officer, helped to establish the open architecture platform that focuses on helping families and forming partnerships with advisors. Early on, she developed the Special Needs Trust group, now a part of Distinctive Care, serving the needs of client family members with disabilities. As Cumberland Trust grew, Michelle developed the blueprint for expansion into regional markets and she worked to open our nine regional offices. Currently, Michelle manages the business development team, who work in Cumberland Trust’s headquarters and in each of its regional offices. She is responsible for overseeing the development team and its new trust opportunities. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, she was a Trust Officer at First Tennessee .  Michelle holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hanover College and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and is a graduate of Cannon Trust School.

Mitch Morrison
CEO and Founder at Eyeballs Financial, LLC

Over the past 43 years Mitch has held executive positions with companies such as E.F. Hutton, Allmerica Financial, Travelers Portfolio Group, Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, Financial West Group and FourStar Wealth Advisors. Mr. Morrison was the past president of Financial West Group with over $4 billion in assets under management and over 100,000 investment accounts. Mitchell is the founder of Financial Literacy Project, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to classroom instruction of high school and college students.  He is also the author of four books which reflect his education and career. During the “cold war years,” Mitchell was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation stationed in Washington D.C. and New York City. He worked in the area of foreign counter intelligence and counter espionage. He also formed and operated “World Trade Center Miracles Foundation” and “Americas Ride” appearing on “Good Morning America”, ABC, CNN, NBC, and CBS. He has organized national fund-raising efforts for both 9/11 World Trade Center relief and Hurricane Katrina disaster relief. He is a graduate of University of Southern California, School of Journalism and George Washington University, Masters Forensic Science.

She is a leader in bringing technology solutions to advisory firms that increase the value and impact they deliver to their clients. She understands comprehensive planning and the need for advisors to expand and deepen their offering and how to coach firms through change management that makes deeper value delivery possible.

Ryan Pinney

His companies - Pinney Insurance Center, a national brokerage general agency, and Insureio Technologies, an InsurTech sales automation platform - provide insurance, investment, and financial planning advice combined with proprietary tools to assist agents and financial advisors. Utilizing the same principals and technology his firm provides to agents, his agency sold thousands of life insurance policies direct-to-consumer over the internet last year.

Ryan is a thirteen-year MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) member with thirteen Top of the Table qualifications. He is a regular contributor to financial publications where he has been featured by Forbes, Money, ThinkAdvisor (formerly LifeHealthPro), Bankrate.com, Yahoo! Finance, and Fox Business News. He recognized as one of the 2015 AdvisorToday “4 under 40” Financial Advisors, by LifeHealthPro Magazine as one of the “24 Most Creative People in Insurance”, and as one of NAILBA’s (National Assoc. of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies) ID Twenty award recipient. Ryan is also active in the industry where he has served in numerous roles including as NAIFA National Trustee and MDRT Divisional Vice President.

Benoit Fleury

Benoit leads the design, development and implementation of the d1g1t wealth management platform. A Fintech Entrepreneur and product guru with a passion for building advanced investment and risk management solutions, he brings over 20 years of experience in projects with over 100 financial institutions in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia, including investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds, insurance companies, exchanges, and wealth management firms. Benoit was a co-founder and the Head of R&D, Financial Engineering and Products at R² Financial Technologies, acquired by S&P Capital IQ. Prior to R², He was at Algorithmics (acquired by IBM), where he led the development of its managed services and SaaS market and credit risk platform. Benoit holds a Master of Science and Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA charter holder.

Patrick White

Patrick spent the first 20 years of his career concentrating on holistic wealth management for business owners through CPA Firms. His registered investment advisory firm helped business owners develop diversified success strategies, ownership exit and estate planning and capital sourcing along with non-qualified deferred compensation and qualified employee benefit planning. In 2013 he sold this practice to concentrate on his family’s business ventures; including a regional homeowners insurance company and his family’s charitable foundation. From its headquarters in Orlando Florida, the White family office manages a diversified portfolio of investments, including real estate, healthcare, insurance, banking, technology and hospitality. At the Wealth Engineering Hub, Patrick helps wealth advisors and family office executives plug into the vast resources the Wealth Engineering Family of Companies as well as the WE Expert Sourcing Consortium on a national basis. He serves on the Board of the Lehigh Valley Wrestling Club and is a graduate of Rollins College.

Tom Takasaki
National Practice Manager
BDO Alliance USA

Tom has more then 20 years of sales and marketing experience. The first third of his career was spent in the technology industry in various sales and marketing roles working with software and consulting services. Currently, he recruits new BRN firms into the Alliance program and manages the firm's relationships with BRN Alliance members in the Central region and parts of the Southeast. Tom received his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Gregory Fat
Director, Regional Business Development Center at Bancorp

Gregory Fat is a Director, Regional Business Development Officer for The Bancorp Institutional Banking business with 10 years of financial services industry experience. In this role, Greg helps financial professionals grow and expand their businesses through lending products such as the Securities-Backed Line of Credit (SBLOC) and the Insurance-Backed Line of Credit (IBLOC). Through the Bank’s Advisor Financing program, he offers financing and other assistance to financial advisors who are looking to acquire or sell a book of business.
Before joining The Bancorp, Greg worked for an investment company in the Philadelphia area, supporting financial professionals in the Southeast region with industry trends, competitive and investment analysis, and product training while leading technology and investment sales. Previously, he was a Financial Advisor Assistant, where he cultivated and maintained client relationships while assisting them with estate planning and wealth management services.
Greg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies from La Salle University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Temple University Fox School of Business. Greg currently resides with his family in the Philadelphia area.
