Joe Phoenix is co-founder and CEO of Givinga, a financial technology firm that has developed tools and technology to remove the traditional barriers to philanthropy. Givinga’s Philantech® platform powers experiences that transform workplace culture, build brand affinity, and cultivate everyday philanthropy. With 30 years of experience in asset management, including 25 years at Putnam Investments, as Head of Global Institutional Management, Joe created Givinga to redefine “giving back”. His efforts are backed by the belief that anyone can be a philanthropist when they have access to the right resources. Joe earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and serves as the President of the Board of the Givinga Foundation.
Michelle Diamond is Chief Development Officer & Executive Director of Regional Markets. She joined the Cumberland Trust team in 2001, at the firm’s founding. At Cumberland’s start, Michelle, a Trust Officer, helped to establish the open architecture platform that focuses on helping families and forming partnerships with advisors. Early on, she developed the Special Needs Trust group, now a part of Distinctive Care, serving the needs of client family members with disabilities. As Cumberland Trust grew, Michelle developed the blueprint for expansion into regional markets and she worked to open our nine regional offices. Currently, Michelle manages the business development team, who work in Cumberland Trust’s headquarters and in each of its regional offices. She is responsible for overseeing the development team and its new trust opportunities. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, she was a Trust Officer at First Tennessee . Michelle holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hanover College and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and is a graduate of Cannon Trust School.
Matt’s career has been a series of entrepreneurial endeavors. A few years after the financial crisis, Matt pivoted into a role as a financial advisor and discovered a brand new fintech tool called Riskalyze. That discovery launched a transition into becoming the first sales hire at the startup technology firm and as Vice President of Sales, Matt built the process, strategy and sales organization from a start-up into a dominant industry leader. Ready for a new early-stage endeavor, Matt saw the desire advisors had to expand their holistic planning capabilities and the need for a high-quality estate planning partner. He joined Helios Integrated Planning and began building again a game-changing fintech solution for advisors. At the end of 2021, EncorEstate Plans was launched from Helios with its team intact where Matt took on the CEO role to lead the firm in its next phase of development and growth.
Chirag Nanavati is part of the founding team of Asset Vantage and leads its India business operations including global product management, global engineering & technology and Middle East/Asian markets. Previously Chirag lead UNIDEL company Softdel as its CEO.
Chirag has wide ranging experience from managing start-ups and technology commercialization to venture capital. He started his career with Honeywell R&D labs in the US where he worked on commercializing real-time, mission-critical avionics and automation products. Subsequently, he was involved with an early-stage venture fund and later led business development and operations for a technology startup he co-founded.
Chirag holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and a BS in Computer Science from Michigan Tech University, USA.
Robin Williams is a Managing Director at Asset Vantage, focusing on new business development, client relationship management and supporting the development teams’ product and implementation strategies. Prior to joining Asset Vantage, Robin was Managing Director of Institutional Relationships at Archway Technologies.
In this role, Robin was responsible for the management and growth of new and existing client relationships with private banks and other financial institutions. Robin joined Archway in 2016 from Private Client Resources (PCR), a consolidated data aggregation and reporting firm, where he held the position of Managing Director, Product Development and CTO.
While at PCR he was responsible for development and implementation of product and technology with the firm’s Private Bank, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Family Office clients.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston, SC.
Mr. Warnick is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He has served as the Philanthropic Editor of the Journal of Practical Estate Planning and serves on the Carter Center Philanthropy Council and the Multidisciplinary Teaming and Professional Collaboration Committee of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. His most recent publications include “Generative Trusts & Trustees: A New Paradigm for Design and Administration”, “Innovate or Die”, and “Selecting a Trust Situs in the 21st Century”. Mr. Warnick received a BA magna cum laude from Brigham Young University and his JD from George Washington University with honors.
As Senior Vice President of Sales, David is responsible for driving sales and engagement with the pooled employer 401(k) plans.
Prior to joining Slavic 401k, David spent over 14 years with Fidelity Investments in a variety of roles. Throughout his career at Fidelity, he held several management positions primarily focused on servicing multi-channel wealth and retirement segments. In addition to his roles at Fidelity, he held several management positions in both sales and relationship management in both the financial as well as the technology industries.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Lawrence University.
John Slavic is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Slavic group of companies, which is comprised of Slavic Integrated Administration (SIA), Slavic Investment Corporation (SIC), Slavic Mutual Funds Management Corporation (SMF) and PLANRight. John oversees all functions of the Slavic group of companies and has more than 35 years of professional experience in the securities and retirement plan industries.Under John’s leadership and vision, the Slavic family of companies has grown from a one-person financial advisory firm to a national 401(k) provider with more than $9B in assets under administration, serving over 12,000 businesses and 250,000 participants nationwide.John has a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
John Leto is Executive Vice President and Head of Institutional Banking at The Bancorp. John is uniquely positioned to serve the strategic needs of our Institutional Banking clients based on his tenure with some of the most notable financial services organizations. He transitioned from his position as Chief Administrative Officer where he led Operations Services, Marketing, Public Relations and Investor Relations, as well as Human Resources, Organization Development and all Sales Effectiveness and Practice Management programs.
Prior to joining The Bancorp, John served as Senior Vice President and Head of National Sales of Wealth Management at TD Bank, where he managed the sales expansion strategy throughout the U.S. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Americas Private Bank, where he also served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of StanChart Securities International. As part of Standard Chartered’s U.S. Executive Committee, he was responsible for all Wealth Management businesses within the U.S. and Latin America. John also held several senior management roles at Citigroup, where he served as Citi Private Bank’s Chief Administrative Officer with responsibility for the U.S., Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Chuck Hayes likes to describe himself as a banker by trade but works in fintech by choice. He spent 20+ years working in the community banking and credit union space holding a variety of roles where he learned the value of leveraging data to enhance the customer experience. He migrated from banking to fintech because he sees financial technology as the bridge between organizations and customers. Chuck is an SME on the use of information from tax records to deepen relationships, make better recommendations, and gather additional assets. In his current role at Tax Status Chuck leads the organization in delivering their technology solution to banks, credit unions, wealth advisors, certified financial planners and lenders to give them the ability to see what the IRS sees and leverage that information for a best-in-class client experience.
Over the past 43 years Mitch has held executive positions with companies such as E.F. Hutton, Allmerica Financial, Travelers Portfolio Group, Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, Financial West Group and FourStar Wealth Advisors. Mr. Morrison was the past president of Financial West Group with over $4 billion in assets under management and over 100,000 investment accounts. Mitchell is the founder of Financial Literacy Project, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to classroom instruction of high school and college students. He is also the author of four books which reflect his education and career. During the “cold war years,” Mitchell was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation stationed in Washington D.C. and New York City. He worked in the area of foreign counter intelligence and counter espionage. He also formed and operated “World Trade Center Miracles Foundation” and “Americas Ride” appearing on “Good Morning America”, ABC, CNN, NBC, and CBS. He has organized national fund-raising efforts for both 9/11 World Trade Center relief and Hurricane Katrina disaster relief. He is a graduate of University of Southern California, School of Journalism and George Washington University, Masters Forensic Science.

He leads the National Account Management team’s efforts for the Bancorp Institutional Business. Joe has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he was a founding partner of m-Power Holdings, a start-up B2B2C next generation private-label wealth management lending platform to deliver planning based, total balance sheet solutions to affinity groups, RIA’s, financial professionals and their clients. Prior to that time, Joe built best-in class wealth management sales & lending operations for Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation and Charles Schwab Bank. He also served as National Sales Director at Schwab.
